An Amazing Year in Review 2015

Relieved is all we can say, to have actually survived the hectic year that was 2015. Now don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t a bad year at all. In fact that’s as far from the truth as you can get. 2015 was a stupendous year, it started fast and it just never slowed down.

So what did we all get up to in 2015:

Kaarina

Well she started the year and ended the year for the team, she started with a 2 day trip to Melbourne for the Revlon Professional conference, followed that up through the year with:

  • 3 Photography shoots
  • Finalist in the AHIA Salon Director of the Year 2015
  • 3 Revlon Professional Courses
  • Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Sydney for ghd
  • 2 In Salon education classes
  • The launch of her own course Blondes
  • 7 Blondes courses in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart
  • Training with the International Revlon Professional Educators
  • Attending multiple gala’s and cocktail parties

But she finished the year with the best news ever, being appointed as a Guest Artist for Revlon Professional, the only hairdresser in this role in Australia. A very exclusive club.

Helen

Well Helen had her best year ever with Kevin.Murphy, so this is what she go up to:

  • Not one but two 3 day trips to Melbourne in February
  • Assisting on 10 Kevin.Murphy courses
  • Teaching 1 In Salon education class
  • Melbourne Spring Fashion Week for 4 days
  • 2 Photography Shoots

Plus like Kaarina she got some good news just before Xmas, where she found out she will be teaching some of the 2016 Kevin.Murphy courses.

Emma

Well like everyone else, Emma was heavily involved. Not always in the spotlight herself, but assisting everyone else along the way. But when she did get involved this is what she got up to:

  • 2 Raw Fashion Shows, where she was the Hair Designer
  • Assisting on her first Revlon Professional Course

Dwayne

Well what did Dwayne get up to, well not only supporting the rest of the team with all their administration and organisation duties, he was also out an about:

  • 4 AHC Board meetings
  • Representing the AHC at Salon Melbourne
  • Representing the AHC at Hair Expo
  • 1 Foundation Meeting
  • 1 AGM
  • Attending multiple gala’s and cocktail parties

So you can see the team was extremely busy, but the salon itself was too. Not only has the salon been growing month to month, it was also a Finalist in the AHIA State Salon Business of the Year NSW/ACT 2015.

An amazing achievement by all, and we can’t wait for all the amazing things that are going to happen in 2016.
